We’ve heard that while many of you need more time between version releases for thorough validation, testing, and training, staying at the cutting edge of genomic innovation is also essential.
Starting Monday, March 2nd, you no longer have to choose between the two.
Introducing our new dual-release model: Main and Preview
This new system gives every user the flexibility to adopt SeqOne at their own rhythm, with two clearly defined modes:
🟢 Main (Validated Reliability): 3 predictable major releases per year (Spring, Fall, Winter), each accompanied by a full documentation package including non-regression testing reports, regulatory compliance documentation, comprehensive release notes, and recorded demo sessions for Germline and Somatic workflows. Main mode is fully IVDR-certified for production, thoroughly validated before every release.
🟠 Preview (Continuous Innovation): Monthly updates giving you immediate access to the latest features and Release Candidates, exactly as you experience today. Preview mode is your gateway to SeqOne's continuous evolution.
Not sure which is right for you?
Think of Preview and Main as two windows into the same platform. You can test new features in Preview and run production work in Main, or stay fully in the mode that fits your lab best. Both modes share the same underlying data: your projects, samples, variant evaluations, and custom settings are accessible across both modes. Analyses become linked to the mode and version in which they were launched.
What's next?
No action required: on March 2nd, you will log in to Main mode by default with no changes and no disruption to your current workflow. A new menu within the interface will allow you to access Preview mode and switch between modes whenever you wish.
If you prefer the 3-release-per-year cycle, simply continue using the platform as you are today.
